The paths and the bicycle route are in an area of intense landscape change and a rich and troubled history. The paths lead through the villages of Agrapidia, Aetos, Asprogeia, Limnochori, Lechovo, Nymphaio and Sklithro. The paths are designed to pass through as many sites, settlements, chapels, orchards, forests, lakes, meadows, springs, rivers…etc
Paths of Peace is a work of the Lechovo Association “Prophet Elias”, which was supported by Greek and German funds and the support of the General German Consulate of Thessaloniki. The aim is to create conditions for a gentle and qualitative development of tourism in the region.The emphasis is on learning from the past and recognizing the value of nature.
