4 days starting in Thessaloniki
1.Day
By car from Thessaloniki to Amyntaio. Choose one of the 4 Hotels in the surrounding, Angonari by Sklithro Argyro or LaMoara in Nymfaion. After the drive you need a nice lunch in Agios Panteleimonas with Naoumidis or at Thomas in Sklithro. Now you start with a nice visit at the winery Vegoritis in Agio Panteleimona or Ktima Alfa in Amyntaio or Ktima Dimopoulos in Xino Nero. From there a nice walk by the lake of Agios Panteleimonos or Valtonera/Limnochori. Stop for a coffee or a coctail in Delago or even for diner.
2.Day
You start early in the morning and after breakfast you drive to Prespes. It’s a drive for almost 1,5 hours but every minute is worth of it. As soon as you arrive in Agios Germanos you stop for a walk around the lake. Small shops are selling traditional products like beans, lenses, rice etc. you now may book a nice boating on the lake… Amazing!
After the boating you may be hungry… Try some fresh fried cyprinos carpio with feta cheese, greek salad and white beans, home cooked in tomato sauce and a nice glas of wine. You will never forget…
During the afternoon you may drive back to the hotel. Diner in one of the fabulous restaurants like Thomas in Sklithro or Naoumidis in Agios Panteleimonas.
3.Day
Today I would recommend some sports. Artemis in Sklithro offers some of those. You may choose Riding, Walking, Jeeping in the mountains or Boating… Have fun with that…. I would recommend the Jeeping in the mountain with a nice picnic.
After that you may need sone rest till you drive to Amyntaio for some Shopping… Several shops to buy jewelry or souvenirs or enjoy a fredo espresso at De Niro’s , Corner or Social Bar. At Georgiou’s patisserie don’t forget to try the small baklavadakia in dark chocolate next to DeNiro’s.
On Mondays is always the Bazar in Amyntaio where you can postpone herbs, olives or other local products.
4.Day
After breakfast you should visit one of the 10 most beautyful villages in Greece Nymfaion. First of all there is the environmantal reserve with bears to visit called Arktouros, Lunch or coffee in Nymfaion after a small walk and foto shooting. Time to leave for Thessaloniki
